This charming series of photos started with portraits of my friend Stephanie’s granny Edna Fiddis (96) with her collection of hats. Ten years later I took some more portraits with her two granddaughters Stephanie and Precious with some of her hats.

Vancouver has some of the most beautiful cherry blossoms in the world. A wonderful time to book a portrait and have cherry delights. A little photographic tip – use a stepladder it makes it easier to get closer to the cherry blossoms.
Every year when I work with this adorable family to take their Xmas portrait, it means tis the season and the beginning of a fun-filled December.
A beautiful balmy autumn day and off we go to Trout lake to take some family portraits. Natural light can produce amazing results.
